         There have been numerous requests for an explanation of the Sheriff's Office stance concerning gun control and the enforcement of the second amendment rights of citizens.   The National Sheriff's Association has made a resolution concerning these areas, and we have made both the Resolution, and a Summary of the Talking Points, available here to respond to such questions and help provide clarity on the issues involved.
